Argon ST designs, develops, and manufactures electronic, communications, and high technology products for defense and intelligence markets. The Company specializes in passive surveillance, electronic countermeasures, threat simulators, communications intercept, and airborne imaging systems installed on a variety of user platforms. Our systems solutions are applicable to requirements both domestic and in the global marketplace.
Our corporate market focus is on three business segments: defense systems, communications monitoring systems, and high resolution imaging systems. We provide full scale systems development capability for each segment from requirements definition through field sustainment. Additionally, with the opening of our new sixty thousand-square-foot facility located in Fairchance, PA, we are now able to offer large scale manufacturing as part of our system development and stand-alone production programs.
Defense Systems Group
The Defense Systems Group designs and develops sensor and countermeasures systems in support of warfighter requirements. These systems provide the capability to search for, intercept, locate, analyze, and report on threat emitters and weapons systems and provide the appropriate countermeasures to defeat them. Additionally, the Group provides electronic threat simulation systems for operational training. The Group's systems are installed onboard military platforms such as ships, submarines, and patrol aircraft, as well as at ground installations.
Argon ST Communications Group
The Communications Group designs, develops, manufactures, and supports products which intercept signals and analyze communications in a variety of transmission media, and then identify and locate the sources of these signals and communications. These systems are generally used by operators onboard aircraft, ships and ground installations to intercept various kinds of transmissions over established communications networks.
Imaging Group
The Imaging Group designs, develops, manufactures, and supports a highly sophisticated line of multispectral, hyperspectral, infrared, and light imaging systems. These can be installed on dedicated special purpose aircraft and ground mobile vehicles. Applications of this technology include environmental pollution detection, facility inspection, utility monitoring, surface mineral exploration, and other special purpose applications where on-site inspections are not possible or desirable.
